How to help Baxters Rescue

There are many ways that people and organisations can get involved with helping Baxters Rescue for example;

There are sponsors who make regular donations on behalf of the rescue itself or through one of our horses or ponies, there are the supporters who make individual donations to the rescue and of course there are the volunteers who donate their free time, helping us with the roles and tasks that are to be undertaken here at Baxters Rescue.

If you are interested in becoming a Sponsor or a Supporter please do get in touch with us through our contact page, because we would be very pleased to hear about ways you can help the rescue.

Volunteering is the commitment of time and energy, for the benefit of society and the community, the environment, or individuals outside one's immediate family.

It is undertaken freely and without concern for financial gain. Volunteering can give you the opportunity to try something new, gain experience, develop skills, improve your career prospects, build confidence and meet new people.

Please feel free to view the information available for download in the Volunteers Information link, which appears under the Get Involved navigation button at the top of the page, if you would like to know more about what we do here at Baxters Rescue.

If you have a question you would like to ask or a general enquiry, just get in touch via our contact page, or if you would like to apply to be considered as a volunteer, download and complete the application form, then post or email it back to us.Baxters Rescue would like to thank you for taking an interest in what we do and we look forward to hearing from you again soon.

One task within the role of Horse and Pony Management is walking with the horses and ponies as part of their in-hand work and ground work routines.

Walking horses & ponies

Another task within the role of Horse & Pony Management is looking after them and this is something volunteers can always get involved and help us with.
